Words With Friends board and tile distribution

The Words With Friends board is filled with 61 colored squares including the center star square where game play begins.  Colored squares on the board each have additional values that can multiply and add to total word scores.

Red: Double Word Score
Orange: Triple Word Score
Blue: Double Letter Score
Green: Triple Letter Score

    I do not have this board to play the game on. Have a whire blank page and black tiles..Please help.

    Are the amount of letters per person. Does each person get a q or j. I’m. Playing a game and with a person I done know and I didn’t get a q…

    is it better to start the games with tile above or below the center?
    My opponent’s telling me I should play above because it leaves more
    room to play and it’s easier to build up or down but I’m not seeing it.

    I would like to know why in the score section while I’m waiting for player to play their turn some of my opponents scores are orange & most are blue? What are the meaning for the different colors
